District 10 deserves roads and bridges that are safe, reliable, and built for the future—not crumbling under growth and storms.
We need real improvements!

I grew up right here and still travel these roads every day. In Powdersville and Piedmont, families know the daily frustrations too well: heavy traffic and safety issues along the SC Highway 81 corridor (from Wren School Road down to Powdersville Main / Piedmont Road), where congestion has surged with new development and crashes happen far too often. We need real improvements—better intersections, wider capacity where it counts, and safer flow for commuters and local traffic alike.
Piedmont and the surrounding areas face worn county roads, aging bridges with weight limits, and drainage problems that lead to flooding after heavy rains. Powdersville sees growing pressure on key routes like SC 153 and connectors to Highway 81 and 86, with potholes, poor shoulders, and infrastructure struggling to keep pace with our expanding communities.
Anderson County is working hard—with bridge replacements, paving projects, and the ongoing push for road funding—but state support has fallen short for too long. In Columbia, I will fight aggressively for District 10 priorities: directing more C-Funds to our area, pushing SCDOT for targeted upgrades on SC 81 and surrounding corridors, fixing drainage to prevent washouts, and replacing or strengthening aging bridges so no family gets stranded or endangered.
Strong infrastructure means safer kids on school buses, smoother commutes to work, and continued growth without the headaches. Powdersville and Piedmont helped raise me with small-town values and big responsibility.
As your representative, I’ll work constantly to deliver the roads and bridges our communities deserve—practical, funded, and done right. No more delays. No more excuses. District 10 moves forward.
