One of my most important initiatives, if elected, will be to explore a vast improvement of the infrastructure in our District. The years of neglect that our roads, culverts, drains, and bridges have suffered are apparent to everyone. Not only do we need a serious maintenance upgrade, we need to analyze traffic patterns and determine the most efficient and cost effective means of making travel better now but to also plan to accommodate the existing and predicted growth in our District. 

Tax relief is needed not only for individuals but businesses as well. Personal property tax and business inventory tax must be addressed so that money can be put back into the economy where it belongs, not in Columbia. I support eliminating these taxes as well as the reduction in state income tax. I also support looking at alternative sources of revenue to replace these tax streams.
